Chapter 23

Connor

We're just about to go on stage and do our first show and all I can think about is Allie. I can hear the crowd screaming and chanting from where I stand backstage. I haven't seen or spoke to her since I put my size ten foot in it earlier. I was going to go after her but Johnny convinced me that I had to let her calm down. I shouldn't of said I only had her in that storage room because I had my reason's, I mean I did have my reason's mainly because I was in a jealous rage because of that fucker Kyle trying to make a move on what's mine but that's not the point. I went about dealing with the whole situation the wrong way, and I now see I have some major groveling to do and an explanation to give or she may never speak to me again let alone let me in her bed again.

"You ready to give the crowd what they want?" Clint shout's above the music coming from the opening band who are currently on the stage.

"Yep." I shrug not arsed if I went out there or not. I have bigger problem's right now and she's rapidly becoming more important to me than any of this. Don't get me wrong I love what I do and I'm very grateful for all our loyal fan's who have stuck with us, but right now I feel sick and I'm actually shitting myself... actually no make that I'm petrified in case she walk's away from me.

Jesus if only Johnny could hear my thought's he'd rip me a new one and call me a pussy!

I'm being poked and prodded by Chloe our sound tech who's wiring me up with my Inner Ear Monitor's when I hear laughter behind me and I'd know that cackle anywhere and I stiffen immediately.

It's Vanessa.

What the actual fuck?

I turn around about to give her a piece of my mind and ask how the hell she got in here and why the fuck she's here in the first place, when she walk's right up to me and plant's her overly made up sucker fish lip's on mine.

And I shit you not, the timing couldn't of been any worse because as I'm trying push her off me I look up and see Allie over Vanessa's shoulder. She's stood staring at me her eye's look glassy with unshed tear's.

Vanessa noticing my attention is elsewhere and not on her, she turn's and face's Allie and give's her an evil snigger before saying.. "Want to join in with us? Although I'm pretty sure my gorgeous man Connor here is a little too wild for a little girl like you, so it's best if you probably just run along now.
